The outlaws got their season started with a home game against Studham.

Outlaws batted first and thanks to a skipper's knock from Joe with 46 from 32 balls (Including 6 x 6's) got them to 135 off 20 overs. New boy Quinn also chipped in with a run a ball 35.

15 Runs short of where they wanted to be The Outlaws knew they needed to bowl and field well .

With the ball the Outlaws were excellent. The wickets were shared around with Euan 2, Quinn 2 and Syed 1. The stand out bowler was Jamie with 4 wickets, who clearly had been putting those dumbbells to good use.

With wickets going at regular intervals it came down to some last ball drama. Studham needed 2 runs from the last ball to win (1 to tie) With Adam bowling he managed to collect and run down the stumps to cause a run out and Outlaws won by 1 run... The less said about the Jane Fonda celebration the better!

A great win against a Studham team who will surely feature in finals day.

Next up another home game against Egginton on 1st June.
